Lake City Blues
Thursday, August 17 at 7pm
Center Field Stage
Formed in 2009, Lake City Blues provides it’s audience with a gritty and powerful selection of blues music ranging from slow soulful ballads to hard driving boogie. Rick Serra hails from the San Francisco Bay Area where he formed “Rick Serra and the Blues Wave” in 1982. The Blues Wave was a main stay in the SF club scene for over two decades. Over the years we had the privilege of opening the shows of such legends as John Lee Hooker, Robert Cray, Tommy Castro, Albert Collins, Al Kooper, Pat Travers, Pete Escovido, Tower of Power, Roy Rodgers, Johnny Winters and many others. Tom Brimm on Bass spent close to 20 years with “Too Slim and the Taildraggers” entertaining audiences around the world. Justin Warren on Guitar brings it in a Big way. Playing for decades, performing at “House of Blues” from coast to coast, driving force behind “Moral Crux”, Justin brings incredible energy to the show. We look forward to including you in the festivities.
Hey, Hey, The Blues Is Alright.
