Tuesday, August 2nd is deemed as “National Night Out.” The Moses Lake Police Department is partnering with the Moses Lake Business Association in hosting this fun night for your family, and they have quite the night planned.
For starters, you can’t go to an event sponsored by MLPD and not meet the Police Chief. Come say hi and introduce yourself to the new Chief in town, Chief Fhur!
The party gets started at 7pm and finishes at 9pm at Sinkiuse Square in downtown Moses Lake, WA. Live music from the band “17 by 90” will play, and there will be free ice cream for children ages 12 and under. Yes! That’s right! I said free ice cream for your kids! You’ll get your free ice-cream from Red Door Cafe. They will have flavors your little ones will go crazy over… cookies and cream, cotton candy, chocolate… get ready to be your child’s favorite person in the world.
The Moses Lake Police Department will also be sponsoring other free events to entertain your family. Face painting, Bicycle registration, and even fingerprinting. Other activities from other local organizations offer more to do… all without any stress on your pocketbook. Make sure you are there at 8pm if your child signs up to win a free bike… because there will be four drawings for 4 kids bikes!
*National Night Out is a nationwide event that is designed to enhance awareness about crime prevention. Nationwide, more than 36 million people in 16,000 different communities join forces to participate in this event.
Thank you Moses Lake Police Department and Moses Lake Business Association!
